The #3 MONTANA SPECIAL - an affordable coyote trap based on the (out of production since 1988) #3 dogless trap that was a favorite of many coyote and cat trappers, this trap is ready to go right out of the box. Many traps make that claim- The Special makes that claim come true. Flat sitting and well built- they could very well become your favorite coyote trap. There are a lot of good coyote traps out there- but to get this sort of quality and to have this many features- you would have to pay a price at least 2-3 times the price of the Montana Special. The Regular Jawed model:

•  Rolled Edge Jaws- resulting in a wide jaw with no stamped, sharp edges.  
• #3 Music wire Springs- with extended HD Spring Pins allowing for easy 4-coiling if desired.

1.5 MONTANA SPECIAL: Now available- this is a rugged little trap based on the old round jaw Montgomery. A little bit beefier in the baseplate and dog support. 1 1/2 music wire springs, 4.5 jawspread, heavy duty base and spring pin. Rolled jaw edges make this a finished trap, same chain setup as the #3 Montana. Regular jaw.
